Certificate Attestation procedure for Qatar:


Qatar is not a member of Hague Convention and therefore it is required to get all the documents Attested whether Academic, Personal or commercial certificate from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) & Respective State Departments. All Indian originated documents which are intended to be used in Qatar needs to be legalized from the Qatar Embassy/Qatar Consulate from India. There are a variety of ways to process Attestation of documents from Qatar Embassy. Process of Attestation will depend upon the nature of the document and purpose of Attestation.

Educational Certificate Attestation from Qatar Embassy in India


For Educational Certificates– Qatar Embassy Attests Degree along with the consolidated mark sheets. Qatar Embassy never attests Degree certificate or mark sheet separately. Both Degree Certificate, as well as mark sheet, has to be attested concurrently. For any Educational documents to be attested from Qatar Embassy in India there are certain mandatory supporting documents to be attached along with the original ones:

  • The degree certificate has to be accompanied with final year mark-sheet.
  • The degree has to be from Govt. recognized institute
  • The course has to be full time with affiliation to university/UGC.
  • Verification Letter- Qatar Embassy is asking for a verification letter from concerned University to be submitted along with the certificate. Without this verification letter, the certificate cannot be attested.
